FISCHER ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY

Moulds, dies and special systems that leave our house are of the highest quality - powerful, long lasting and precise.

"We demonstrate on a daily basis that precision, quality and rapid production times are not incompatible"

—Hartmut Fischer / Senior Managing Director

At Fischer Werkzeugbau a staff of more than 80 working in three shifts produces dies for stamping and pressing and moulds for die-casting and injection moulding. Here we demonstrate on a daily basis that precision, quality and rapid production times are not mutually incompatible. We invested from early on and continue to invest: in clever people, the very latest technology, a large machine fleet and IT-driven corporate processes that are tightly organized.

This means that we are in a position to reproduce all the required machining and assembly steps in house. In the case of stamping and progressive dies we test on site under series production conditions. Our customers really appreciate that. Today you can see just a small piece of Fischer Werkzeugbau travelling on the road in each major make of car.

Excellence in Production

At the award ceremony for the "Toolmaker of the Year" in 2015 Fischer was able to achieve the best result so far. In the category "External toolmaker with more than 50 employees" our family business was awarded the 2nd place.
We understand this award as a challenge to equally satisfy and improve our relations to our customers and employees. 295 companies of German-speaking countries took part in the competition. A total of only 13 companies were nominated as finalists in four categories.

Machine fleet

We can produce practically every component ourselves with our own machine fleet. The CAD data that was produced by the designers is used directly for the control of our CNC milling and eroding machines. A total of five workstations are available to our programmers for this: Two NX system for the preparation of the data for the 3D milling and three Mecanic systems for the programming of the wire and vertical eroding machines and the CNC milling machines.
