Everything starts with your request. You supply us with either a drawing, a CAD model or a prototype of the desired workpiece. Perhaps there is also a reference part for which you want us to find a better and more economic form of production. Equally of interest is the desired material, the size of the production run and the throughput time that you plan for the part. We then give you a quotation for the technical implementation on the basis of our experience. As soon as we have agreed with you on the method planning we start with the detailed design of the mould or die. This is the basis for the efficiency and precision of your production. Short production times, high durability and low per-part costs can only be achieved with a mature form of design. To do this requires the technical knowledge of our engineers at the ten NX workstations. The associative-parametric 3D software allows us to react quickly to any changes. We can watch the entire shaping process, including the drawing and follow-on operations and the spring-back, in the shaping simulation using Dynaform. This means that the mould or die can be developed fully and efficiently. Furthermore, our work-sharing design process greatly shortens the throughput times because complicated and time-consuming steps such as itemization, electrode discharge and programming can be done simultaneously.
